My name is Angel Pittman, and I bring my experience as a former educator along with over twenty years of leadership in educational ministries to my role as a board-certified educational Advocate.
Supporting Students
As a board-certified Advocate in Special Education from The National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET) and the American Academy of Special Education Professionals (AASEP), I work collaboratively with parents and their exceptional education learners to find the best learning opportunities.
Encouraging Community Involvement in Schools
From spreading the news of the great things happening in schools to supporting teachers in high-need schools, I empower churches, civic organizations, and businesses to show love for our educational heroes.
Advocating for Fully-Funded Education
In partnership with like-minded organizations, I am involved in legislative advocacy efforts to fully fund public education for all students without discrimination as a moral and common good with a "public schools first" focus.
Supporting high-quality educational programming
I consult and resource organizations engaged in educational programming in the out-of-school setting that serves vulnerable children in overlooked communities, both rural and urban.
