My name is Angel Pittman, and I bring my experience as a former educator along with over twenty years of leadership in educational ministries to my role as a Board-Certified Educational Advocate exclusively serving income eligible families.
As a board-certified Advocate in Special Education from The National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET) and the American Academy of Special Education Professionals (AASEP), I work collaboratively with parents and their exceptional education learners to find the best learning opportunities at no cost to qualifying parents.
Advocating for Fully-Funded Education
In partnership with like-minded organizations, I am involved in legislative advocacy efforts to fully fund public education for all students without discrimination as a moral and common good with a "public schools first" focus.
Encouraging Community Involvement in Schools
From spreading the news of the great things happening in schools to supporting teachers in high-need schools, I empower and encourage churches, civic organizations, and businesses to show love for our educational heroes and support the needs of under-resourced public schools.
Supporting high-quality educational programming
I consult and resource organizations and churches engaged in educational programming serving vulnerable children, from strategic planning and curriculum to fundraising and grant writing.
